My career as a legal assistant began when I started working for a disability attorney in Oregon over 10 years ago. After a move from Salem to Vancouver, I began working at The Tilden Law Firm. While I hadn't previously worked in family or adoption law, I couldn't have picked a better firm to work in. Marie has a wealth of knowledge and experience and has been a great mentor to me.
Though I haven't adopted children myself, I have family members who have, and I know the emotional ups and downs of that process. It is my goal to make the process easier for our clients by providing the best support I can to Marie and to the adoptive families. My experience with divorce prior to working here has only been on a personal level. Now I have a better understanding of the complexity that each divorce client brings to the firm. I was born and raised in Oregon and initially started my working career in the banking industry. Later, I lived in Florida where I helped run a large family owned wholesale business. Little did I know back then that I would be putting my administrative and accounting skills to work in the field of law. In my free time, I like to spoil my four (and three) legged pets, spend time with my loved ones and friends, get my hands dirty in the garden, and enjoy the great outdoors in anyway I can. |
